Fact Sheet
Sumatera Permata Gayo Coop
Behind every cup of rich, aromatic coffee lies the quiet dedication of farmers from the Gayo Highlands — working with patience, tradition, and heart.
We are Sumatra Permata Gayo, a cooperative built on the spirit of over 520 smallholder farmers in Central Aceh. More than just an organization, we are a community — learning, growing, and striving together to bring Gayo coffee to the world, without losing our roots or identity.
Each coffee bean we produce tells a story — of early morning harvests, careful hands sorting cherries, and the deep belief that quality comes from sincerity. From selective picking to precise post-harvest processing and export preparation, we do it all with care and commitment.
Our coffee has reached America, Europe, Australia, Japan, China, and New Zealand. But beyond destinations and numbers, we are proud to carry the voices and hopes of Gayo farmers into every sip you take.
At Sumatra Permata Gayo, coffee is not just a product — it is our heritage, our hope, and a bridge to a fairer future for our farming families.
